The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has extended the validity of the Udyog Aadhar Memorandum till December 31, 2021, in order to provide some respite to MSMEs suffering from Covid-caused business disruption.
Enterprises can create an Udyam Registration Number by registering on our udyam registration platform. Only Aadhar and PAN are required for registration.
Enterprises that were previously registered under EM–Part-II or UAM must re-register under the new MSME classification guidelines, which were announced by the ministry on June 26, 2020. The registration deadline for Udyog Aadhar, which had been set for March 31, 2021, has now been extended to the end of this year. Many MSME associations have contacted the ministry to request the extension, according to the ministry.
